We also include dvd's, books, playing cards, childrens games and fishing tackle.
GARDEN is to the rear of the house and is private and enclosed. It is South Easterly facing and catches the sun for almost all of the day. Being only 200 metres from the hills and forests there are fantastic views of the local scenery. There is a rustic covered seating area with table, barbeque and traditional Hungarian fire pit for outdoor cooking and relaxing. There is also a small vegetable patch where guests can help themselves to seasonal vegetables.

LOCAL AMENITIES Within 200 metres there is a bank with atm, pastry shop/bakery, local bars, grocer, green grocer, hardware shop, doctor, dentist and 2 restaurants. Also in the village there is a post office, fuel station, hairdresser, and various other small retail establishments.
The Hungarian drink drive limit is zero. You are not allowed to have any alcohol if driving. Also, drivers must carry all their documents in their vehicle at all times, registration document, insurance, mot, driving licence, passport. If using the motorways a vignette must be purchased in advance. The minimum time is for 4 days and these can be bought at most fuel stations. Dipped headlights must be used at all times outside of towns and villages. Speed limits are 50kph in towns and villages, 90kph outsside of towns and villages and 130kph on motorways. TRIPS & TOURS We also arrange tailored trips to suit individual needs with ourselves who speak Hungarian and English. Whether you want to hike through the forests, go fishing, sight seeing, wine tasting, paragliding, paintballing, quad riding, horse riding etc we can arrange it. This way you can see more of the real Hungary without the worry of finding your way around or language difficulties. The Hungarians have a zero tolerance on drinking and driving so you will also be able to sample the local beers and wines and arrive back home safely.
GETTING HERE Many airlines fly in to Hungary's main airport Budapest Ferihegy. Personally we would always recommend a direct flight as we have been held up on two previous occasions by delyed non direct flights. From the UK several airlines fly directly here: Wizzair from Luton, Jet2 from Manchester, Ryanair from East Midlands, Easyjet from Luton & Gatwick, Wizzair from Luton, Jet2 from Manchester, Ryanair from East Midlands, Easyjet from Luton & Gatwick, British Airways from Heathrow, Malev from Gatwick and Manchester. If landing at terminal1, leave the airport carpark and turn left. Follow the signs for the M0 and Nyiregyhaza M3. If landing at terminal 2, again again follow the signs for M0 and Nyireghaza M3. This will take you along the newly constructed M0 motorway until you reach the M3. Keep following the signs for Nyireghaza. Once on the M3 you have 2 or 3 choices...the scenic route takes you over the highest point in Hungary Kekes Teto in the Matra mountains or the faster route continues along the motorway to Kal. If taking the scenic route, come off the motorway at the first sign for Gyongyos and follow road number 3. When in Gyongyos take a left along road number 24 towrds Parad. Simply stay on this road as this takes you directly into Sirok and past our house which is on the right hand side opposite the church just past the cross roads. Alternatively, stay on the M3 motorway past Gyongyos and take the turn off for Kal/Erdotelek. Follow the road through Kal to the very end where you meet road number 3. At this T junction turn left and first right towards Verpelet. Continue through Feldebro and Verpelet. Once over the railway crossing in Verpelet turn right towards Sirok. At the very end of this road trun right onto road number 24. Continue into the village and our house is on the right hand side opposite the church, just past the cross roads.
